Archived from groups: microsoft>public>internet>outlookexpress>mac (more info?)
any emails I try to send now are just staying in the outbox and not sending
at all. There is no error just won't send. Can't delete them out of that
box either. I'm receiving email fine. Can anyone help with this?

This same thing just started out of the blue happening to me today as well.
Have you received any answers yet on this?

Have a look at Tools menu, Accounts, your email account, Edit, near the
bottom, are the details for the smtp server correct? (Should usually be the
same as your ISP, but not always.)

Apple 4, for the Error Log, in case it didn't show.
