re-entering the key in Office X

Post subject: re-entering the key in Office X

Hi-
Our sysadmin mistakenly gave me the wrong key for Office X (i.e., one
that's already in use on someone lese's computer). How can I re-enter
the correct key? I tried deleting the Microsoft folder in the
Documents folder, but that didn't do it.

Archived from groups: per prev. post (more info?)

Contact your admin and ask him to uninstall and reinstall Office X. Enter
the correct code.
This is the way to deal with this problem on OSX

You don't really need an admin - it's easy to do yourself:
