Archived from groups: comp>sys>mac>programmer>misc (more info?)

i would like to locate the files that store my email msgs from the
Mail app.
i have a form online that, when submited from my site, emails the
content to me. i would like to write a C++ program that would
automatically parse the info DIRECTLY from my email archives (wherever
that may be). otherwise ill be forced to copy and paste the email
content from each and every email into a text file that i could easily
parse, but id rather not do that.
any help is appreciated.

~/Library/Mail.

But it might be interesting to examine the possibility of doing it via
an AppleScript. That should immunize your task against changes in format
and location of mail. It could also, once you're done with anything
already received, be set up to process new messages as they arrive.
