I just discovered that the following URL no longer
works in firefox (2.0.0.12) after the 10.5.2 upgrade
and the graphical upgrade coincident with it (but
requiring another upgrade cycle).

http://tinyurl.com/2r4oe4

It is a street level google maps view, and only
partly works. I just checked under Safari, and
it behaves like it used to behave before the
upgrade.

Do other see this? If so, where can we report it
to get it addressed?

Thanks, John

It's working here.
Mac OS X 10.5.2 & Firefox 2.0.0.12.

Before you do anything, reset Firefox to the defaults, or try a fresh
account and run FF from there.

Hmm. I just tried the firefox "default" and it works as before.
Now I have to figure out what configuration or add-on has
broken it in my main firefox. Sigh. If anyone else sees
it and can add any insight, please do. Comparing the two,
it seems that the street level view overlay is mispositioned
and thus makes it partly/mostly unviewed.

Thanks, John

If it helps any, I have these Firefox AddOns installed:

* AdBlock Plus 0.7.5.3
* DOM Inspector 1.8.1.12
* Foxmarks Bookmarks Synchronizer 2.0.43
* SwitchProxy Tool 1.4.1
* TalkBack 2.0.0.12

When the street view window pops up where it is supposed to do in
front of the street map, it suddenly jumps to the upper RHS
of the window, where some of it goes outside the displayed window,
some of it is obscured (black) by the window that was there
already, and just a bar of it is displayed correctly in the
bottom of the misplaced window.

Add ons I have are: Bandwidth Meter and Diagnostics 1.1
DOM Inspector 1.8.1.12 (don't know why
this is installed)
Google Desktop Search 1.0
Image Zoom 0.3
Talkback 2.0.12
TinyURL Creator 1.0.4

The latest additions are Bandwidth Meter and Image Zoom.
It was working fine with Image Zoom prior to 2.0.12 FireFox.
I uninstalled another Bandwidth program that was for Windows
only, and installed this one a week or so ago. Not sure if
I tried the Street View URL after that or not.

I just disabled Bandwidth Meter and it still glitches.
I just disabled Image Zoom and it still glitches.
I just exited FireFox and restarted it with both the above
didabled, and it still glitches. The next step I suppose,
for when I have more time, is to fully uninstall each
add on and try it over and over. Sigh.

So I went to my FireFox "default" account where it worked
the other day, and it now glitches.

So I did a Clear Private Data... Browsing History, Cache,
and Authenticated Sessions were all on (as I best recall).
And it started working!

I went back to my primary FireFox account, and it worked
there too. So I think I know what to do if it misbehaves
again.

I smell a cache problem.

Indeed. It keeps happening, and then if I clear the
cache (only), it behaves for a while. And sometimes
it doesn't come up with the correct view at all.

The correct view will have a building toward the
right with the sign "ipowerweb" (to the right of
trees and a convertible parked on the street).

Here it is as you say, except it says "ipower". 10.5.2 as of this morning.
