formula bar

I am using MAC Office X Jaquar

The formula bar was semi-hidden under the apple title bar.
It then moved to the middle of the screen. I could not
move it from the middle of the screen. I restarted the
computer and now there isn't a formula bar. View formula
bar is checked. Any suggestions.

Did you apply the 10.1.2, 10.1.4 and 10.1.5 patches (to be found on
Mactopia)? If you have, try dragging the "Excel Toolbars (10)" and "Excel
Settings (10)" files from the preferences folder to the desktop and relaunch
Excel. If the problem is solved throw the files away...
