Post subject: Any games available?
Archived from groups: comp>sys>mac>games>flight-sim (more info?)

Having got a fix again for another flight sim, upon looking at various
online sellers, only X-Plane and Enemy Engaged seem to be currently
available.
I already have X-plane (but after 15 minutes every 6 months find it
rather boring), I downlaoded the demo of EE.
So, as you do, plug in the joystick and hit 'play'.
Give up after 5 minutes after not getting airborne, and have a look at
the controls .pdf.Give up,and look at the quick-start guide.
Christ this is meant to be entertainment? I dont really want to learn
how to fly a helicopter properly, I just want to fly it and blow up
things.(for those who havent tried it, there are at least 5 buttons and
the joystick to be used before you get going.).
Is it worth me trying to learn which buttons to press, or should I give
up now?
And, are there any other games I should try?
And is Warbirds available as a free download now?
Ta
Alan.
