Archived from groups: comp>sys>mac>hardware>video (more info?)

I'm such a novice at video, it's pathetic. I'd like to buy a digital video
camera for my iMac. I need to have a camera that has a firewire outlet.
Right now, I'm borrowing a Sony DCR-TRV130 that seems to work pretty well.
Of course, it isn't sold anymore, or at least that's what I've found. Can
anyone suggest a good video camera for a ditz? Thanks so much.

Dale
