When I click a hyperlink (to a url) I get a message "Cannot download
the information you requested." If I dismiss this message and click on
the link again, everything goes fine. I use Safari as my browser. Does
anyone have a solution to my problem?

bioteacher,

Quick question..... are you connected to the internet all the time?

I'm guessing the 1st click, may trigger your computer/network to connect to the internet, by the time the message is
displayed, and you dismiss the message and click again, your computer/network has connected to the internet, and all is
well.

I am connected all the time. It is really a hit and miss proposition.
It exhibits this rarely on my home machine using a cable modem, but it
has happened. Maybe it is just one of those little flukes, easy to
work around.
Thanks
