My iBook is getting very hot on the left side below the keyboard. It seems
like the fan is not working -- what should I do?

I got a 700Mhz 14" iBook. From time to time it does get hot on the
bottom left hand side, but that comes and goes. Never really thought
much about it since compared to my old HP the iBook ran much cooler.

Unless, your getting error message shortly after the iBook gets hot you
should be fine.

Just out of curiosity does it get hot when you have on your lap or just
any where?
