No. I guess that they don't have the number of logicBoards they would
need. The fault of the motherboards in these IBooks is located in the PCB,
so that you can't repair these boards. All these problems with the IBooks
are caused by the combination of a weak bottom case and bottom mounted
logicboard. The on the G3s there was the GPU located on the G4s there is a
power-management IC. Apple did know this design flaw since the IBook G3
and changed nothing over years. For me that is the real shame.
The only hint I can give all IBook owners that have a still working IBook
- never grab it with one hand. Take it only on the frame with both hands.
If you take it with one hand you will press against the logicboard and the
board will become bad soon.
