Post subject: iDVD 1 (I think) questions
Archived from groups: comp>sys>mac>misc (more info?)

First, is there an iDVD listserve? Second, anyone know if the early
versions can do autoplay (no menus-pop disk in it plays---we are
talking CEO here). And last, is there a way to flag anamorphic in
the early versions of iDVD?

Or am I going to have to bother my friend with iDVD Pro (whatever
the latest number is).

Most of all info on an iDVD listserve would be handy.

TIA,
Percy

I don't think there's an auto-play function, and there's very definitely
not widescreen support, anamorphic or otherwise.

That would actually be DVD Studio Pro, which is not inexpensive and
substantially more complex.

iDVD is one topic that is covered in the MacDV list at

I do not believe there is an auto play, but you can trick one. The time out
selection should allow you to do this. You can set a time out value in the
editor so that it will play the first track after "X" seconds. From there if
the tracks are linked you should be good to go.
