Post subject: iMovie clips cut way too short upon import - halp!
Archived from groups: comp>sys>mac>hardware>video (more info?)

I can't find anything in the iMovie 2 book (have several copies if you
want one) to tell me why iMovie is cutting off the imports of clips
from my Sony Hi8 digital to no more than 20 seconds. I get a message
the the disk was slow right after that, but no other apps are open.
Running iMovie on a G3 Powerbook with tons of memory. Too little
processing power? Any opinions accepted.

Men for the most part can mend their ways only after they make mistakes. Only
when they are frustrated in mind and in their deliberations can they stand up
anew. Only when their intentions become visible on their countenances and
audible in their voices can they be understood by others.
