Post subject: Does iPhone have CAPS-LOCK

sometimes i put stuff in my notes in UPPERCASE. but it's a pain in the
ass having the press shift before every letter

is there no caps LOCK?

also, i'm used to having a shift key on the left AND RIGHT side of the
keyboard. obviously this is not possible due to screen real-estate
issues.

The iPhone is doing this correctly.

Words that are all in capitals are assumed to be acronyms. So they don't
have spelling. Words that start with capitals are assumed to be proper
names, so they don't have spelling. If you are typing a normal word, it
should have a capital in only if it starts a sentence.
