Hi, I am buying a small portable pc that has 1394 ports. I have an iPod
that I have so far only used with my mac.

I don't want to use it as a windows iPod, but I do want to connect it to
the portable pc to
1. Charge it
2. Transfer files (use as external hd)

Is this going to be automatic? Just plug it in and it will work?

Thanks,

John
