iPods next for update?

iPods may be next on Apple's update list. Today's junk email from one of
the local New Zealand stores is advertising "below our cost" specials on
at least some iPods nano and iPod Touch models, which could be a sign
they're wanting to get rid of excess old ones before the new ones arrive.

Most iPod product lines have been updated every September for the last
few years. September starts in less than six weeks.

There have been rumours floating around that Apple may be releasing the
next iPhone as early as August, coinciding with an iPod Touch update.
The other iPod models would almost certainly be refreshed at the same
time.
