I have been using iWeb to run a blog with my department and have
recently run into a problem. When I launch iWeb it tells me there is a
missing file in many of my posts, specifically Divider_tile.png. I
found this file in my trash, in a folder called "rescued items." I
don't know if I should put this file back somewhere - but where? I
looked, but don't see anywhere it might go. I searched online, but
didn't find anything. Any help the group can give would be
appreciated.

Run Disc Utility and checked your hard drive, and fix your permissions.

I'd love to help you but don't have the skills. Nevertheless, right now
you must back-up your local website file which is:

~/Library/Application Support/iWeb/Domain.sites

If you've upgraded to iLife '08, or begun with it, then you have iWeb
v2 (up to 2.02 if you've kept up). In any case with iWeb V2 you'll
find Domain.sites2 in this directory instead, or in addition. Back them
all up in a safety folder.

Now relative to your problem: I would recommend you get with the Apple
discussion group:

http://discussions.apple.com/category.jspa?categoryID=188

Get an ID there, and post an explicit message with your version of iWeb.

Good luck!
