Post subject: I can't import video in imovie 3 without errors
Archived from groups: comp>sys>mac>hardware>video (more info?)

I recently updated my OS with OSX 10.3.2 on my imac G3 500, and this
now comes with the latest version of imove version 3.0.3.

When I used to run OSX 10.1.5 or OS 9, I could use my DV camera to
import video with firewire, using an older version of imovie with no
problems what so ever, now I can't capture any video without it
dropping frames and flickering and completely stopping the import
process itself. With results similiar to a slide show of about 2-3
frames.

Any one know of a possible solution? I don't really want to revert
back to an old OS as my other applications are fine. I was wondering
is it because my mac is only a G3 500MHz? this seems strange as it
used to work fine before, I have plenty of disc space left 15 GB's and
I have 512MB's RAM.

any suggestions would be cool.
