One way:

Unlike WinXL (which will auto import files with the.csv extension), you
can use File/Open, then follow the Text Import Wizard (choose Delimited,
click Next, check Space or Comma, then click Finish

To import into a current workbook, choose Data/Get External Data/Import
Text file... and follow the same steps.

USING A IMAC, I HAVE A WEBSITE, NEED TO IMPORT CUSTOMER INFO IN MYOB FIRST EDGE ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE.
IT WAS EMAILED TO ME USING EXCEL AND FORMAT COMMA-SEPERATED, WOULD NOT IMPORT GAVE AN ERROR MESSAGE

"Error -4: First digit of Account Number must be 1,2,3,4,5, or 6."
Error -185: Account Type is too long or contains invalid characters.

I CONTACT MANUFACTURER OF MYOB AND THEY SAID THAT IT NEEDS TO BE DOUBLE CARRIED TO BE IMPORTED WHAT DOES THIS MEAN

THANK YOU TO ANY AND ALL THAT CAN HELP ME
