I'm looking to start dnsmasq (dns cache) using a launchd job. It's just
a binary (without arguments), that can be started manually by executing
' /opt/local/sbin/dnsmasq' as root. It forks into the background when
started.

Could anyone show me what the content of my .plist should be?

Get the freeware plist construction tool, Lingon, from VersionTracker
<http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/28365>.

I missed the "forks into the background" part on first reading. Read the
restrictions in the section 5 man page for launchd.plist

Ah, of course. The man page says there's a --keep-in-foreground (-k)
option, should have looked at that. Thanks.
