lite-on ltr 12102C - Jaguar/panther PROBLEM?

Hi,
please, I need some help :-)

THE problem: internal CDRW drive lite-on ltr 12102C don't work
properly since Panther is here

THE details:
I have on the same G4/733 quicksilver
-> panther on the master HD and
-> Jaguar on an other slave HD (because my music studio must work
between the OS change). Since the install of panther, the CD drive
lite-on ltr 12102C (original internal drive) don't reconize new CDR to
burn or some old CDR burned under Jaguar. Only Audio CD and commercial
CDROM are accepted. there is a new firmware? What could be wrong?
