Post subject: lost files
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>internet>outlookexpress>mac (more info?)
Installed OSX 10,3 over OS 9.2 and lost all address files and file folders.
Can they be retrieved?

If you're talking about your OE messages and address book content, you will
need to move the following folder...

Mac HD:Documents:Microsoft User Data:Identities:

....into this pathway...

Mac HD:Users:[your user]:Documents:Microsoft User Data:Identities:

the same thing happened tome. Something about moving a
folder (Microsoft User folder) to the hard drive. I was unable to
retrieve them. Anyhelp would be appreciated

Did you try to move your MUD folder from. here...

Mac HD:Documents:Microsoft User Data:

to here...?

Mac HD:Users:[your user]:Documents:Microsoft User Data:

This should allow OS X to call upon your OE data in the Classic environment.
