Messages from this user's Outlook Express have disappeared from Feb 2007 to
Nov 1st, 2007. I noticed his Inbox file is 1.88GB. How do I recover his lost
email messages.

OMG, Joe, I lost all my emails from the same time frame that you did (over
500 emails), and I really needed some of them!! Have you heard anything from
Microsoft about this, or should I say "Screw Microsoft, I'm switching over to
Apple"?????

Tricia78,

I was able to retrieve all those messages. I used a piece of software
recommended by a microsoft support person at this discussion group. The
website is oehelp.com and the program is DBXtract. It worked well for me,
except that the retrieval process was slow. The same company has another
program called DBXpress that is much faster. I bought it and got all my
customer's files.

Good luck.

Thank you, Joe212. I'm glad to hear you could retrieve your emails! I'll
give it a try. My only complaint would be that if it's Outlook Express that
drops my emails, the least they could do is give out the software to "fix" it
and not charge for it. Oh, well, life is too short...
