I have several PowerPoint files that use movies (.avi). I keep the file with the movies in the same folder as the PowerPoint document that uses them.

But when I move the folder to another location and try to run the presentation, PowerPoint can't find the movie files. My only solution so far has been to delete each movie individually from its slide, then "Insert" the movie again from the new location back onto the slide.

Is there an easier way to get the movie files to move WITH the document? This drives me nuts!

Steve

That's an answer, but to the wrong question. ;-)

The question is: Had you saved the PPT at least once and put the movies in the same folder
BEFORE inserting them?

Also, how are you starting the PPT presentation? If you're using File, pick a recently used
presentation, don't. Use File, Open and browse to the file or doubleclick the file in the
Finder. Sounds weird, but it can make a difference.
