Post subject: netscape 7.02 keeps crashing on OS 9.2.1 Archived from groups: comp>infosystems>www>browsers>mac (more info?)
Just started, no new software installed recently. Reinstalled Netscape,
upped memory to 100000K but keep scrashin due to a "type 2 error".
Netscape 7.1 - The Netscape Web page may be a little confusing. Do not order 7.1 inless you're running OSX as your primary OS. Although it will wotrk with OS9, you can't open it unless you're in OSx.x. -- George Berger gberger@his.com

Netscape 7.01 quirk - About once a year Netscape 7 goes batty and I have to trash it and reinstall it; then it's fine again for another year. Well, it's that time again. Version 7.1 is out now, but it needs OSX, and I'm still on 9, so I installed a fresh copy of 7.01..
