Post subject: getting my office 2001 clipart back into office 2004 gallery
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>mac>office (more info?)

In an archived message it says Office 2001 clipart can be copied to the
folder with Office 2004 clipart. I upgraded my Office, but let it remov
Office 2001 as it installed 2004. I didn't know it wasn't importing the
old clipart, or that 2004 would have so little.

I copied the clipart from the 2001 CD to the 2004 clipart folder, and
tried importing the clipart "packages". Clipart gallery will show the
preview, but if I try to insert an image it gives an error that "file
can not be found without user interaction" then it opens a dialog box
at the desktop.

Is this futile? I also searched the MS website, but it seems like they
took just about every download off the web. If it works, can someone
give explicit instructions on how to get 2001 clipart back?

details: Office 2004 upgrade, OS X 10.3.8

Thanks!

Hi,

thanks for the reply.

It didn't work. Same error message.

Is it because the images in the 2001 clip gallery are mostly gif files
and not pict files like the 2004? Or could it be because 2001 was a OS
9 app that ran under Classic on OS X?

I just wandering why did you upgrade Office 2001 to 2004?

I asking this because I am looking to upgrade to OSX. Still running OS9 for
now.
So, is there any problem to run Office 2001 under the classic environment,
on
the OSX 10.4?

Thanks..
