If it helps, I still eat peanut butter (the creamy kind, alas), though not
as often as I used to. I have to be careful about tomatoes and anything else
with seeds as well, like strawberries. It's the pits as a lot of things I
really love are either off-limits or have to be in a form that robs them of
some of their pleasure-yielding capacity.

Peanuts are not nuts though, believe it or not - they're legumes. You
need to eat proper nuts, like almonds or walnuts.
