Archived from groups: microsoft>public>mac>virtualpc (more info?)

Ever since my recent "delayed" upgrade to OS 10.3.5 I can no longer connect
to the Internet with VPC.
I get the following error message on start up: "Permissions for the support
files were set correctly, but Virtual Switch failed to load. Please report
this problem to Microsoft (Code: A1004). Virtual PC will run without VirtuaI
Switch networking."
Is anyone else having this problem?
Should I change any of my OS 10.3.5 settings? I can connect to the internet
on OS 10.3.5.

Have you run permissions repair (from Disk Utility)?

How many times are you going to post this same error message?

Most likely Apple made another small change to some part of OS X that
VPC uses and broke VPC. It happens with nearly every update of OS X.

It didn't happen to me when I upgraded to 10.3.5.

Shouldn't be necessary, VPC6 works fine here with NT, 2000 and XPHome
after 10.3.5. But an archived good, working drive image of your
Windows OS should always be made so one never does have to full
reinstall Windows OS again.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

This is happening with my archived drives as well.
Could the OS X firewall be causing this?
