Just wondering if anyone knows of any fixes/workarounds to the problem
of not being able to read a CD in Virtual PC after installing Leopard.
I have a CD that is essentially "locked" - the program won't run
unless it can be read from the CD, so I don't have the option of
copying the files to the hard drive and running it (I've tried). This
is ridiculous and I don't feel like giving $35 to Microsoft to ask
them about it just to find out that they don't have a fix. Any clues
out there?

Greg

Try creating an ISO of the CD and mount the ISO from VPC.

There are 2 ways to work with CDs in VirtualPC 7 and Leopard:
1.) Menu/PC Settings/Shared Folders: Select your CD and close the
Settings. At "Your Computer" you will find your CD and you can start
or read it.
2.) If you have an external ROM-Drive (FireWire or USB 2 connected)
you can work with it just how before with your internal drive.
