Post subject: server problems using router
Archived from groups: alt>mac (more info?)

I have a G4 running a hotline server. After hooking it and a PC up to
my Netgear MR814 router, my server has a new ip address (the address
of the Mac). I can find my dynamic IP address but when I start the
server, it's address appears to be the same as the Mac. Now my server
can not be found on any tracker and when I try to connect to it via my
modem's address, it gives me an error message: remote host did not
respond. What to do??
