Post subject: How to set up Entourage 2004 with Yahoo mail
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>mac>office>entourage (more info?)
I've tried setting up Entourage as a front end to Yahoo mail using its
standard acct discovery feature to no avail. Any ideas as to how to do this.
Not sure what version of yahoo mail Im on,if it matters. It may be the
latest beta version with chat etc built in.

Yahoo will not allow you to do this. You have to pay a fee, then you
can set up Entourage as your mail server for your Yahoo POP.

It's not Entourage, it's Yahoo.

And, more specifically, Yahoo US, since international Yahoo accounts can be
accessed via Entourage (or any other e-mail client) for free. Depending on
how the OP wants to use the e-mail account, he or she may consider having
Yahoo forward incoming messages to another e-mail account that allows free
POP3 access.
