Archived from groups: microsoft>public>mac>virtualpc (more info?)

Hi all ,

I need some advice please. I am running virtual pc 6.1 that has
windows xp pro on it and I am sick of the speed of the Ethernet
network connection being only 10mb therefore I would like to be able
to setup virtual pc running windows xp to detect and use the macs
airport wireless to connect to my network. I have all the equipment
needed to set this up (like a wireless access point into my network)
yet I am unsure about how Virtual pc running windows xp pro will pick
up the airport wireless connection that mac has.

Thanks in advance for an replys .

Cheers
David

Well as it is a simulated environment it will pick it up via the preferences
settings where you tell VPC which NIC to use.

And it will STILL simulate a 10Mpbs network card/connection.

There is no way that I know of to make VPC recognise the Airport directly.
