If I have an airport or wifi card in a Power Mac G5 (single CPU), can I
connect a hub or other computer to the G5's ethernet port and get the
wifi and ethernet to pass traffic to each other?

Mac OS X has built-in NAT called "Internet Sharing". Accessing it is
quite easy - select System Preferences from the Apple menu, then click
Sharing > Internet.

Not really, at least not with the stock OS. A Mac can share its Internet
or WAN connection with other computers, but this isn't a true bridge
that passes traffic between the two physical networks. For that, get a
dedicated 802.11g wireless router.
