I just took over a team, and have found that many of the basic software
engineering practces, well, need a little help.

Got the source code management under control. I am now looking to see
if there is any basic automation that I can do around static source
code analysis.

Are there any good tools ala splint, codecheck, pclint, etc that work
for checking objective C, or is my best bet the compiler messages?

Thanks!
