It means your iPhone is a grey-market version, and will not be supported
by Apple. You can chuck them, but they do contain sensitive information
encoded in light yellow, which should be visible if you scan them with
the right filter.

You got it backwards. White means the iPhone was purchased through
Apple-approved channels. Grey-market iPhones come with grey stickers.

Regardless, they are all encoded with your Apple UserID. It is illegal
to throw them away. You *must* stick them to something you own, and can
prove you own, or you must keep them forever.
It is the law.
