Post subject: strange Disk Utility error from cloned partition
Archived from groups: comp>sys>mac>hardware>storage (more info?)

Just bought a LaCie 160 d2 triple interface drive, and everytime I
clone to it, Disk Utility verification reports "Invalid File clump
size should be 73400320 instead of 14680064 this disk needs repair" It
will repair it, but what is the error all about?
Any information would be appreciated.

Firewire drive appears in Disk Utility but won't mount - Hello: the subject line says it all. I have a Firewire drive that shows up in Disk Utility, but will not mount. Disk Utility seems to be able to verify/repair the drive (it's not a bootable drive), but it still won't mount (even from within Disk..
