Yes., but do you see the words "Watch the MacWorld 2008 Keynote by Steve
Jobs, Tuesday afternoon on Apple.com"?

It's not the afternoon everywhere, though. ; )

When you get a minute, you might want to read these web pages. You've
been doing something we call "top posting" which is considered bad
etiquette in Usenet news groups such as this one. It's not the end of
the world, but may be something you wish to correct in the future.
Thankfully, it's easily remedied, and no level-headed person will hold
it against you if you correct your posting style now! As with most
things, the decision is yours - do whatever you think is best:

<http://www.greenend.org.uk/rjk/2000/06/14/quoting.html>
<http://www.xs4all.nl/~hanb/documents/quotingguide.html> and
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Posting_style#Inline_replying>
<http://www.caliburn.nl/topposting.html>
<http://www.albion.com/netiquette/>

This should illustrate the problem to you:

A: Because it reverses the flow of conversation.
Q: Why is top-posting frowned upon on Usenet?
A: Top-posting (aka TOFU - Top-post Over, Full quote Under)
Q: What is one of the most annoying things in news groups

Hasn't been streamed live for years.

Check out www.macworld.com that has a reporter at the keynote and will
be delivering a live blog as it happens.

One of the most annoying things in newsgroups are the self appointed
net-bullies such as yourself. They hide behind fake screen names that they
think are cute, but really shows just how immature they really are.

We have one just like you in one of our local groups too and he looses what
little respect he may have when he tells some one else what to do just like
a 10 year old beating up a 6 year old.

Any real knowledge you may have gets discounted when you attempt to force
what you think is correct when the reality is it does not make any
difference whatsoever. Not really something that hard to figure out.

Anyone with a little bit of intelligence can discern which way the
conversation is going.

Kindly tell me, and the rest of the nice folks here, how I "bullied"
anyone with my simple, nicely-worded suggestion.

So in your mind, anyone making use of anonymity is "immature" for doing
so?

You seem to equate a simple, kind suggestion to a "beating". This gives
the rest of us an indication of your character and general disposition.
Thank you for this insight.

A whole lot of people tend to disagree with your apparent believe that
good etiquette doesn't make a difference, which is why I made the
suggestion to begin with.

Yes. The rest of us definitely see where you're going with this.

Have a good day.

On the other hand, he's right about the problems associated with top
posting.

Not that the "net bully" can do more than hurt your feelings, and that
only if you let him.

See, no bruises, right?

Ain't no thang, Tim. Thanks for the kind words and support.
