out of sync audio in v7

I'm trying to stream Windows media segments in version 7
(Mac) on a site we're developing but noticed the audio and
video are out of sync. We're on a high speed connection and
even the low speed (56k) segments have the same problem.

The segments were encoded with v8 of the WMP video codec
and our in-house encoding system pre-processes the video
as raw AVI files, if that matters. This problem only occurs
when viewing the segments with the WMP browser
plugin...they play fine when viewing them through the WMP
application.

Is there any possible solution that might help fix this
(i.e an earlier codec) or is this a bug in the plugin file?
