How to uninstall a Mac program ??

hi,

How does one uninstall a mac program ?

I'm used to using a PC and know how to go to "add and remove programs"
to uninstall a program on a PC.

How is this done on a Mac ?

in nearly all cases, just drag it to the trash.

sometimes there's additional content in the application support folder.
garage band, for instance, has something like a gig of extra stuff.

if you don't need the disk space it doesn't really matter if you
uninstall the app or not.

if the app comes with an uninstaller, then that's what you should use,
but that's generally only for apps that install kernel extensions,
drivers, etc. adobe creative suite has its own uninstaller because it
has a *lot* of shared files for the various apps in the suite and
removing the wrong ones can cause problems for other adobe apps.
