hi, i screwed some things up and I'd like to uninstall XDarwin before
reinstalling it.

How do I do that?

Also, do I do anything to uninstall OpenOffice besides removing the
folder from /Applications?

Thanks,

XDarwin (as does Apple's X11) installs files in the /usr/X11R6 and in
/etc/X11 directories. They are invisible directories owned by root, so
you'll have to zap them with something like "sudo rm -r /usr/X11R6"

I believe that OO comes with an uninstaller. Check in the OO directory in
the UninstallerData directory.
