updated Intellitype/Intellipoint software for Intel Macs?

Hello,

I just bought a MS wireless optical mouse and wireless keyboard. When
I installed the accompanying software in my Intel iMac, the new MS
Mouse and MS Keyboard preference panes would not function, but the
keyboard and mouse function (with some significant shortcomings, e.g.,
no scroll wheel).

Can anyone tell me if Microsoft has software updates available or in
the works, and if so, how do I find these?

There is a version 6.1 that came out a short while ago.
