What would it take to upgrade a G3/266, to say, a G4 ?
what are my options?
I successfully upgraded my ppc7500/100 to 300 MHz with a Sonnets card.
I see that the G3 has a different processor.
Is Sonnet the way to go?
Should I look for Brand Name or Price?
many thanks.....DaveC......

Sonnet is probably the one with the most options. They have upgrades
for a G3/266 at 500 MHz, 700 MHz, 800 MHz and 1 GHz. Prices range from
about $200.00 to $480.00. You might be able to do a little better on
eBay but not much. The faster upgrades sell well and are in demand.

OWC (Other World Computing) also has a special right now on an OWC
Mercury 533+ G4/450-533 Mhz processor at $150.00.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
