Post subject: w2k3 client cannot RDP into another w2k3
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>mac>rdc (more info?)

Setup
==========
I have a w2k3 server running at home behind a router.
I can connect to the public IP from my desktop in the office, which is
behind a firewall. In this scenario I am logged on as domain user, who is
machine admin.
I cannot connect to it from my laptop from my office.

Troubleshooting
===============
I have unsuccessfully tried connecting when logged both as domain user and
administrator. The domain user is administrator on the laptop as well.

When I am at home I can connect to the public IP from the laptop.

I have tried using both w2k3 and Vista mstsc.exe with no luck

What may be a possible solution?
