windows media player not starting up anymore!

So the problem was windows Media Player wouldn't wor after the computer has
been on for a while and then all you would have to do is restart the
computer and then it would work again..... Now windows Media Player will
not even start anymore. Its as though the program isn't even there anymore..
It won't open there are no error signs. Nothing happens at all.

What could it possibly be???

You should proceed with the following steps to reset the WMP in Vista.

Delete the following folder:
%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Media Player

Locate and delete the following registry keys:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer
Restart the computer

These should solve it.
