There is going to be an update to RDC for Macintosh.

Q: What about a RDP 6.0 Mac client? Will this RTM with LH or Vista?
A: We are working with the Mac Client team to release an RDP 6.0
based client.

RDP 6.0?!?! The only client I can find in the MacBU pages at MS is at
version 1.3. Are there newer Mac clients available somewhere?

version numbers for the Mac rdp client are not the same as version
numbers for the Windows rdp client.
The current Mac client is version 1.3.

No, it means that the new version, mentioned in the Executive Chat,
is not yet released.
I have no information about the release date.
